| Beautiful Skye Terrier pups available. The Skye Terrier is fairly rare in the United States. Very loyal and loving of their owners, the famous Greyfriar's Bobby of Scotland was a Skye. They are a medium sized dog, averaging 25-30lbs. They make an excellent watch dog, they have a deep bark that would make an intruder think you had a much larger dog in the house. Skye's have tendencies to be a one person dog, so it is important to make sure all family members interact with the pup when it is young and that it get's plenty of socialization with other people, and your groomer if you don't intend to do your own grooming.
